HIMSS12 pegs events for senior executives

LAS VEGAS — HIMSS has bundled a package of special programs and events specifically for senior executives during HIMSS12.


Called the Senior Executive Community, the agenda is tailored specifically for the C-Suite, including executive vice presidents, senior vice presidents and vice presidents at healthcare provider organizations.

 

The HIMSS Senior Executive Community was created to provide a strategic alliance among senior leaders for collaboration within HIMSS. Community members have the opportunity to connect, learn and lead through peer-to-peer networking, problem solving, solution sharing and education. The community also offers an avenue to get involved in other HIMSS activities and important national initiatives that drive the business of delivering quality healthcare.

 

Among the special events sponsored by HIMSS and CHIME are the Senior Executive Lounge, open from Monday, Feb. 20, through Friday, Feb. 24; Senior Executive Track Sessions, held between Tuesday, Feb. 21 and Friday, Feb. 24; and a Senior Executive Private Interoperability Tour.

 

Additionally, a Leaders & Innovators seminar series, designed as a combination of invitation-only and open seating sessions, has  the theme “Does IT Have a Positive ROI in Healthcare?” is being held Tuesday, Feb. 21., through Friday, Feb. 24, to bring senior healthcare executives together to drive thought leadership, innovation, strategic direction and market research intelligence in the effort to transform healthcare. Senior executives receiving this exclusive invitation will have the opportunity to attend a series of highly interactive sessions focused on key topics and issues related to the theme of return on investment while all attendees can participate in the three open seating sessions.
