eFilm for iPhone, designed by Merge Healthcare, provides a new, image-enabled supplement to the electronic medical record. The “app” enables convenient correspondence among clinicians through a direct interface with their eFilm Workstation to view study lists and images, and manage a variety of tasks from as little as five feet away or from anywhere else in the world.
