HIMSS Central has it all

Make HIMSS Central one of your destination stops for HIMSS branded gear and a score of brand new publications. Enjoy a special conference discount on books, CDs and reports. For every HIMSS gear purchase made, HIMSS will donate one dollar to the HIMSS Foundation.

At the HIMSS Bookstore, attendees can purchase the latest publications and CD ROMs published by HIMSS and other prestigious associations and publishers, all at a special conference discount. Some titles to debut at HIMSS09 include a new edition of HIMSS’ bar coding and auto-ID guide and books on clinical decision support, PHRs and strategic planning. Besides books, at the HIMSS Gear kiosk, t-shirts, mugs and more bearing the HIMSS logo are available for purchase.

On Tuesday, from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m., Views from the Top speaker Kevin Mitnick will be signing copies of his book, The Art of Deception: Controlling the Human Element of Security, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

On Wednesday from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM keynote speaker Jerry Linenger, MD, NASA Astronaut, will be signing copies of his book Letters from MIR: An Astronaut’s Letters to His Son on a first-come, first-serve basis.
