eMix, developed by DR Systems, Inc., is a vendor-neutral, cloud-based electronic medical image exchange system developed to securely share medical images and reports between disparate healthcare facilities, physicians, and patients. eMix looks to provide easy deployment and is based on DICOM, HL7, and HTTPS industry standards. eMix digitally supplies images and reports with the goal of reducing the cost of creating and importing CDs.
