New duplex document scanner introduced by Ambir Tech

The ImageScan Pro 490i duplex document scanner, developed by Ambir Technology, is designed to simultaneously scans both sides of a document, driver’s license, identity or insurance card in one pass. Featuring a one-millimeter paper path, the DS490 is expected to handle challenging scan jobs (cards that have raised characters or laminated.) The DS490 uses Ambir Technology’s imaging software – AmbirScan. AmbirScan features support for PDF, JPEG, and TIFF extensions and fixed file locations let the user set a default save location for all scans.

The Martin Luther King, Jr., National Historic Site is a fitting tribute to one of Atlanta’s most famous sons. Here, visitors experience an important and moving chapter from our American history. The site houses multiple historic buildings operated in partnership with the National park Service, giving visitors a comprehensive view of the famous Civil Rights leader.

ONYX medical displays presented at HIMSS10

The ONYX-MT70X, a  seven-inch fanless mobile telecare assistant developed by Aaeon Systems Inc., provides the use with an Intel Atom Z530 processor, a compact/portable design and a seven-inch TFT LCD display screen. Other features of the mobile assistant include optional HSDPA 3.75G, Bluetooth capabilities, a built-in webcam and internal microphone and speaker.

The ONYX-172/192 is a medical display computer that is designed to serve as a point of care station. It is a PC-based system with 17″/19” true color TFT LCD display, Zero Noise solution, integrated multimedia functions, and features 300 Nits High Brightness For X-Ray Films.
